PAPA JOE GARMIN

This is an unused clip from the film "Finding Home." There were a lot of little clips that we feel are important pieces of information to share. For one reason or another it didn't fit within the full film "Finding Home" provided. So we decided we would share it here.

Papa Joe Garmin is the father of Rapha House's director Stephanie Freed. Joe has worked all over Asia and Southeast Asia during his years. It was when he encountered a trafficking incident right in front of his eyes that he challenged his daughter to do something about it. This was the birth of Rapha House.

This clip was originally going to be used in the Rapha House origins scene within the film but was cut due to time. I love this scene because I feel the human connection between a father and a daughter is shown strong here, as well as their love for the girls they take care of and the desire to change the world.
